Tongue And Cheek Play At Vegas Weddings Including A Quick Game Of Cee-Lo Before Reception Time
So far SBW’s Vegas odds are quite fantastic! Between the engagement shoots & weddings we have had the privilege to share, I am beginning to think of Vegas in a whole new way! Jackie Ronay & Kyle Wake’s wedding keeps up that pace with a tongue & cheek take on a Vegas wedding. Our sweet couple opted out of their home state of Ohio, going for a destination wedding in Vegas! While they did indeed have a proper church wedding, the fun really started after the ceremony, where our adorable couple, along with their bridal party headed to Arts District for some playful moments including the girls reenacting a rather iconic shot! Jackie’s bridesmaids were all given the opportunity to select their own dresses, given that they stick within the pink palette, while the groomsmen were smartly dressed in beige suits with matching pink ties. Jackie’s bouquet was made by her mother out of various pins and brooches! Their reception was held at the top of the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, giving guests gorgeous views of the strip and the fountains of the Bellagio! I love the air of fun to this wedding party & it probably wont surprise you that my favorite images overall are the girls throwing dice, you know how it is!

Novella of The Bride…
Kyle and I are from northeastern Ohio, and both moved to Columbus, OH for jobs at separate times. Kyle is an architect and I am a project manager. I knew Kyle as a friend of a friend when I still lived in northeastern Ohio (2005), but it wasn’t until I moved to Columbus (2008) when we started dating (2010). We were engaged over Thanksgiving weekend in 2011. We decided to get married in Las Vegas, but still have a traditional Catholic wedding.
We chose Vegas because it would be fun and like a vacation for those attending. We chose Guardian Angel as it was right on the strip, but still elegant. We chose the Eiffel Tower Restaurant because of the quality of service and food and great view of the strip (including the Bellagio fountains)
My mom created the bridesmaids bouquets, and created my brooch bouquet for me. For our overall theme/feel, we used gerbera daisies for the flowers and different shades of watermelon/pink for the bridesmaid dresses.
Kyle and I and a couple members of the wedding party walked back from the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Paris to our hotel at Treasure Island, and the whole way back everyone was cheering and congratulating us. It was really fun!

It’s not often I get to see a finished look of the wedding couple’s ceremony. As the secretary/wedding coordinator for the Guardian Angel Cathedral doing the preliminary paperwork necessary for a Roman Catholic ceremony, I only get involved with the couple through emails, phone calls and on occasion a visit prior. This was a treat to view and take a peek at the type of wedding they put together. It was light, happy and fun for all as the photographer expertly depicted here. Congrats to the both of you Jackie & Kyle!
