Imagine being in 7th grade, you walk into your school gym class, and you end up meeting the love of your life.  This is exactly how Colleen Moen & Daniel Whitaker met, over a shared game of dodgeball {just kidding about the dodgeball, but maybe!}  The couple now resides in California with the exception of the fact that Daniel is currently attending West Point Academy in New York!  Daniel’s plans to propose after the Army/Navy game didnt pan out {Army lost} so as spirits were a bit down, he opted to wait juuuuust a bit longer, popping the question at midnight, which also happened to be Colleen’s birthday!  This sweet couple is completely adorable and its impossible to miss just how very much at east they are with one another, making each other smile the fullest of grins!

Step into a world where boy meets girl as he steps out from behind the lens while surrounded by the iconic beauty that is The Bradcury Building.  Boy falls for girl, girls falls back.  Boy asks girl to spend forever together with a giant sparkly ring.  Christine Uyecio & Mike Yao easily play smitten kitten in their themed engagement session, taking on a retro vintage feel.  The styling choices, from clothes to hair, play perfectly with the buildings dynamic design & retro feel.  I love this session’s soft touches & joyful spin on vintage.

Yesterday I dangled a yummy carrot in the tasty form of a video, enticing you with the full feature to come, if you missed it, check it out here!  Well the wait is over my friends, Kayla Gudmundson & Josh Ditthardt’s full engagement session feature is here and it is…stunning!  Just to recap, they teamed up with the wonderful Katy Hall Photography for this shoot, highlighting the cult worthy gear & design style that is the wondrous Anthropologie.  Armed with a perfectly styled ensembles, some choice decor elements such as a throw back picnic basket, bunting, & their gorgeous selves, Kayla & Josh were simply….. THEM, but in great outfits!  Playing in a meadow, lunching under trees, even dipping into the water at one point, this session has definitely scored a top spot in my all time favorite list and I am sure you will agree with me!
