I’ve slowly reined back on my features that are strictly bridal portraits, though a few recently have come across my desk that I found way too hard to just walk away from. I decided I enjoyed them so much that I wanted to do something a bit unconventional with them. I reached out to the respective 3 photographers and asked if they wouldn’t mind sharing the spotlight with one another. I was met with a resounding yes by all and as such, I have a delicious treat for you in the form of wedding portrait eye candy! What I adore about this grouping is the elegance, the refinement, & utter joy that each couple shares. The locations span the globe from Manhattan, to Venice & far away Australia! While each scenario is unique & defining, love is the bond that they all share. A mighty big thanks to Luca Faz Photographer in Venice, Meg Miller Photography, and My Foto Box for being gracious enough to share the stage with one another and allow me to curate this feature in this manner. Emily & Michael preferred the idea of the juxtaposition of black tie attire set against the beautiful Australian earth. This sweet couple is clearly smitten as can be with one another, even stealing kisses among the leaves in the garden. While there most certainly is a beautifully polished feel to their look, they clearly make one another laugh & enjoy the time the spend together. I can easily see Michael being a bit of a clown just to make Emily giggle and I could not love that more!
Kasey & Eric loved the idea of the tremendous urban jungle that is Manhattan as a backdrop for their portrait session and we completely agree! Much like Cinderella, Kasey donned some beautiful black Louboutin’s, a gift from Eric, along with a few choice accessories to keep warm during their January shoot. There is a lovely dose of class & sophistication that comes from Kasey & Eric but what I love best is how wonderfully Meg Miller Photography captured their spirit & playfulness. There is nothing so lovely as a gorgeous couple swept up by their own enjoyment of one another!
Ester & Edward journeyed to Venice from China, as they traveled across Europe. Armed with their rings from France, our passport handy couple knew that the captivating city of Venice was where they wanted their wedding memories to be. Braving the cold & rain that is Venice in the winter, our sweet couple, along with Luca, still managed to look beautifully refined & utterly elegant. While the earlier set up with the white wedding dress is beautiful, let’s be honest here, the above silver mirrored gown is to die for especially when matched with the brought poppy colors of the gondola & flash pop…. DIVINE!!
