Cupcakes to Fall For…Sugar-Sugar Cakes & Cupcakes
As we are fast approaching Thanksgiving, what could be more poignant then delicious wedding treats styled in a lovely fall fashion! Sugar-Sugar Cakes & Cupcakes, based out of Atlanta, wanted to created something special for her Tennessee bride. The wedding took place in Big Canoe (up in the North Georgia Mountains) in a lovely venue that was filled to the brim with windows allowing nature’s fall “scape” to really shine through. The bride really wanted her special wedding treats to reflect the changes going on in nature, showing off those gorgeous leaves!
Taking such a lovely cue from nature, Roxana set off and created this amazing Cupcake Tower, complete with a 6″ red velvet cake top tier filled & topped with vanilla cream cheese frosting, finished in chocolate fondant. To really bring home her bride’s changing forest theme, she hand-made leaves, acorns & mini pumpkins using fondant & gumpast. The best part? Everything is completely edible!
Let us not forget about the amazing flavors too! Starting off with a girl’s best friend…chocolate cupcakes with Italian buttercream. For the more conservative classic tastes, vanilla cupcakes topped with Italian buttercream frosting. Want some jaw dropping scrumptiousness (& my favorite!) Dulce de leche cake smoothed with caramel cream cheese frosting. The assortment was then finished off with nature’s own favorite, carrot cupcake & vanilla cream cheese frosting!
I dont know about you, but now I’m hungry! Some little lovelies like this would be absolutely perfect for any fall wedding, & most definitely Thanksgiving!
